How to register and book tickets
in the RZD Russian Railways Website
Below a rough guide how to use the RZD web site for buy trains ticket in the Russian Federation.
In RZD website you can buy also the transiberian train tickets (no America Express credit Card is accepted), unfortunatly is not possible to buy tickets for trains that cross the russian border or outside the Russian Federation (e.g the train from Irkutsk to Ulan Bator is not sold there) From the 1st June 2011 is possible to buy ticket from Russia to Finland stations, but not from Finland to Russia
First of all you need to register in the RZD web site, for do that you need to follow the steps below:
3) Fill the form for create a new user, below the meaning of each field:
- Login (any combination of latin or russian character - at least 3)
- Password (any combination of latin or russian character - at least 6)
- Confirm Password
- Name
- Middle Name
- Surname
- Email
- Telephone
- Date of Birth <date-month-year>
- Sex:
the choices for sex are in this order:

- Your Answer
- Check the checkbox for declare: "I do not mind receiving promotional and informational mailings from JSC Federal Passenger Company"
- Confirm Code (write the code on the left in this box)
